Adam Gawlak
Licensed Acupuncturist and Strength Coach
Adam Gawlak is a licensed acupuncturist and strength coach with a specialty in sports injuries, pain management, and athletic performance enhancement. With a strong foundation in personal training and strength and conditioning, Adam has worked with a broad spectrum of clients—from high school, collegiate, and professional athletes to weekend warriors and those simply seeking better health and wellness.
Adam began his academic journey in Exercise Science at Adrian College and completed his undergraduate degree at SUNY Fredonia, where he gained extensive knowledge in kinesiology, neuroscience, and strength training. A four-year collegiate lacrosse player, he also spent his summers and weekends coaching high school lacrosse and hockey athletes and working at a fitness retreat in upstate New York.
He later earned his Master’s degree in Acupuncture from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine. During and after his graduate studies, Adam served as a teaching assistant in anatomy, palpation, and advanced orthopedic acupuncture courses. He has also pursued extensive continuing education in movement science, rehabilitation, and performance training.
Today, Adam integrates acupuncture and strength training to help patients recover from injuries and reach their peak physical potential. When he’s not in the clinic or gym, he enjoys snowboarding, trail running, Muay Thai, and hiking with his wife and their Australian Shepherd.
